O Billboard Music Awards é uma cerimônia de entrega de prêmios nos Estados Unidos, para homenagear artistas da indústria musical. Acho que quase ninguém aqui ouviu falar sobre essa premiação, pelo menos eu nunca ouvi, acho que foi porque o BMA era transmitido pela FOX, mas o contrato expirou e por motivos não declarados, não foi renovado e a transmissão em televisão foi cancelada em 2007.
Desde aí, a cerimônia é num pequeno teatro fechado ao público, em que são entregues os prêmios aos artistas. Mas para nossa alegria esse ano a premiação será exibida pelo canal da TV acabo TNT no dia 18 de Junho, às 22h.
A cerimônia terá performances de artistas como Britney Spears, Black Eyed Peas, Rihanna, Keith Urban, Taio Cruz, Cee Lo Green, Lady Antebellum, Ke$ha, Pitbull, Mary J. Blige e Lil Wayne. Veja agora a lista de indicados desse ano.
